If you sell or give your washing machine to someone else, don’t forget to include the User’s instructions. Before using your washing machine for the first time Respect the “Installation and connection instructions “ given below.
User's instructions Safety for children Elements forming part of packaging (for example plastic films, pieces of polystyrene) can be dangerous for children and introduce a risk of suffocating. Keep these packaging elements out of reach of children. Children are often unable to understand dangers of electrical appliances. Therefore always keep an eye on children when the washing machine is in operation, and never let children play with it.
User's instructions Recycling Recycle packaging! Please retrieve the packaging materials used for your washing machine. All packaging materials can be safely recycled and placed in a waste plant or burned in a household waste incineration installation. Plastics can also be reused: The packaging cover and inner bags are made of polyethylene (identified by the >PE< symbol). Packing parts are composed of expanded HCFC free polystyrene (identified by the >PS< symbol).

Warning: never turn the programmer in the anticlockwise direction.
User's instructions 8 - SYNTHETICS WITHOUT PRE-WASH Main wash without pre-wash for easy care textiles (cold wash at 60°C - Rinse/ Gentle Rinse - Spin). 11 - WOOLENS Main wash for machine washable woolens (cold wash at 40°C - Rinse / Gentle Rinse - Spin, higher water level and considerably reduced drum movement). 12 - DELICATES Main wash for delicate washing at 30°C or 40°C. RINSE ( programs 4 - 9 - 13) Separate rinse, for example for rinsing white/coloreds washing (3 rinse and spin cycles).
User's instructions Display program progress The display on the programmer moves forwards as the program advances, informing you of progress in the program. Thermostat The thermostat may be adjusted progressively to any required temperature. Other buttons Other buttons have the effect of adapting wash program depending on how dirty the washing is. No other buttons need to be used for washing that is not dirtier than normal. Different functions can be combined depending on the program.
User's instructions Consumption and program duration The values given in the following table were calculated for normal operating conditions. They provide a guide about how to operate your washing machine at home.
User's instructions Preparing your washing Sorting and preparing your washing Sort the washing as a function of its nature and care labels (see “Washing types and care symbols”). Empty the pockets. Remove any metal objects (paper clips, safety pins, etc.) Close all zip fasteners, button up quilt covers and pillow cases, tighten ribbons (for example on aprons) so that your washing will not be damaged or get tangled. Turn lined washing (sleeping bags, anoraks, etc.) inside out.
User's instructions Washing types and care symbols Care symbols help you to choose the right washing program. Always sort your washing as a function of its nature and the care label. Temperatures specified on these labels are always maximum values. Washing to be boiled Cotton and linen textiles marked with this care symbol are not delicate. They resist mechanical forces and high temperatures. The WHITE/COLOREDS program is suitable for this type of washing.
User's instructions Products Choice of detergent Only use products designed for use in washing machines. In general, respect manufacturer’s instructions. Quantities The quantity of detergent to be used depends on: the amount of washing to be washed: If the detergent manufacturer does not give quantities for small loads, reduce the quantity by one third for a half load, or by one half for a smaller load, from the recommended quantities for a full load.
User's instructions How to do your washing Brief instructions A wash program is carried out in the following steps: . Prepare the washing. Sort the washing, apply all necessary prior treatments. . Choose the program and the temperature. Put the programmer and the thermostat to the required number. Press on any other buttons. . . . . . . Open the lid and the drum door. Insert your washing. Close the drum door and the lid. Add detergents. Start the washing program (press on the ON/OFF button " ").
User's instructions Adjusting the washing program Refer to the programs table in the next chapter to choose the appropriate program, the right temperature and any other programs for each type of washing. . 1. Adjust the washing program: put the programmer to the required program. 2. Adjust the temperature: put the thermostat to the required temperature. 3. Choose the additional program(s) if any: Press on the same button again to change or cancel the selection. Adding detergents Open the lid.
User's instructions Starting the washing program . . Make sure that the water supply tap is open. Start the washing program: press the ON/OFF button " ". The washing program starts. Washing program procedure The display on the programmer moves forwards as the program advances, informing you of progress in the program. End of the wash cycle / removing washing The washing machine is fitted with a locking system for safety purposes, that prevents you from opening the lid during operation.

User's instructions Cleaning and care Daily care . After the wash, open the lid and the drum in order to air and dry the inside of the drum. . If you do not use the washing machine for some time: Close the water inlet tap and unplug the washing machine from the electricity power supply. Cleaning the various elements The control panel . Warning ! Do not use furniture cleaning products or corrosive products when cleaning control parts. Clean the control panel using a damp cloth.
User's instructions Troubleshooting Problem solving If a problem occurs, try to solve it yourself using the information in the following table. The technician’s work will not be free even during the guarantee period, if you call the After Sales Service to solve a problem which you could have solved by reading this table, or if you make a false maneuver. Dose the detergent exactly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. There is water around the washing machine The water supply pipe is not screwed on tightly. Screw the water supply pipe on tightly. The water supply pipe leaks Check the water supply pipe and replace it if necessary. The filter plug is not properly closed. Close the plug correctly.

User's instructions If you are not satisfied with the washing results If the washing is dull or if lime scale forms in the drum You did not add enough detergent You are not using an appropriate detergent. Some dirt was not treated beforehand. You have not chosen the right program or temperature. The various elements of modular detergents were not added in the right proportions. If there are grey stains on the washing You did not used enough detergent for washing with grease stains.
User's instructions Cleaning the drain filter / Safety drain Warning ! Pull the washing machine plug out before cleaning the filter! . . . You must clean the drain filter regularly. If you wash very fluffy washing, clean the filter after each wash. Lower the drain pipe above a large receptacle placed on the floor to drain all water remaining in the washing machine. Open the washing machine front access door by pressing on its left side. .
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS Safety instructions for the installation Do not tilt your washing machine onto the front or left side (looking at the front of the washing machine). Otherwise, you could wet the electrical components. Check that the washing machine was not damaged during transport. Never plug a damaged washing machine into the power supply. Call your supplier.

Parts used to protect the washing machine during transport must be removed as follows before you use the machine for the first time. Keep all these parts, for re-use if the equipment is moved! 1.Remove the packaging from the washing machine. 2.Open the washing machine cover and take out the polystyrene foam that prevents the drum from moving. 3.Tilt the washing machine backwards. Close the openings that you can now see with covers (D) located in the pack attached to the washing machine. D 10. Make sure that you have removed all these parts from the washing machine. The washing machine is now ready for you to make its connections.
Installation and connection instructions Installation The floor must be clean and dry, without any traces of polish or other lubricant that could make the washing machine slide! Do not use lubricant to help you move the washing machine! It is recommended that you should not install the washing machine on a floor with a thick carpet or flexible foam, since it will not be very stable.
Installation and connection instructions Leveling the washing machine Warning ! A central rollers system controlled by a lever is provided to make it easy to move your washing machine. Never operate the washing machine unless the roller system lever is in the “Washing machine operation” position.
Installation and connection instructions Electrical connection Information about the mains power supply, the nature of the power and the fuses to be used are given on the washing machine dat plate. This data plate is located inside the drain filter access door. In the case of a fixed connection, the electrical installation must be fitted with a device to isolate the washing machine from the mains power supply, providing a contact separation of at least 3 mm on all poles.
Installation and connection instructions Water connections The washing machine is provided with safety equipment that prevents dirty water from flowing backwards into the drinking water supply pipes, in accordance with national water company specifications. Therefore there is no need to use any other additional protection in the installation.
Installation and connection instructions 1. Fix the pipe to the machine using an elbow connector. Warning! Tighten the plastic nut on the pipe screw connector manually. 2. Screw the pipe onto the water inlet tap with an R3/4 (inch) thread, using the straight fitting. 3. Before starting to use the washing machine, check that the fitting is not leaking by slowly opening the water inlet tap.
