Cleaning the drain filter / Safety drain
Warning ! Pull the washing machine plug out before cleaning the filter!
You must clean the drain filter regularly.
If you wash very fluffy washing, clean the filter after
each wash. Lower the drain pipe above a large recep-
tacle placed on the floor to drain all water remaining in
the washing machine.
Open the washing machine front access door by press-
ing on its left side.
Turn the filter plug in the anti-clockwise direction and
remove it.
Clean the filter with running water.
Put the filter back, making sure that its edges fit into
the grooves provided for it.
Fully tighten the filter plug.
Close the access door.
