INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Safety instructions for the installation
Do not tilt your washing machine onto the front or left side (looking at
the front of the washing machine). Otherwise, you could wet the
electrical components.
Check that the washing machine was not damaged during transport.
Never plug a damaged washing machine into the power supply. Call
your supplier.
Make sure that you have removed all elements provided to protect the
washing machine during transport, and that the splash protection is
installed; these operations are described in the “Removing transport
packing” section. Otherwise, the washing machine and adjacent
furniture could be damaged during the spin.
Always plug into a socket with an earthing terminal complying with
standards. Do not use an extension, multiple power outlet or adapter.
In the case of a fixed connection, you must be able to isolate the washing
machine from the mains power supply by means of devices in the
electrical installation (fuses, circuit breakers, safety switches or similar
systems) with a contact opening distance of at least 3 mm on all poles.
A fixed connection can only be made by a approved technician.
Before switching on, make sure that the mains voltage and the nature
of the power supply shown on the washing machine name plate are
compatible with the mains voltage and the nature of the actual power
supply. The fuses to be used are also shown in the name plate.
Pull out the plug before doing any work on the equipment (on the
working surface).
The mains power supply cable may only be replaced by the After Sales
Service or an approved technician.
