Electrical connection
Information about the mains power supply, the
nature of the power and the fuses to be used are
given on the washing machine dat plate. This data
plate is located inside the drain filter access door.
In the case of a fixed connection, the electrical
installation must be fitted with a device to isolate the
washing machine from the mains power supply, providing
a contact separation of at least 3 mm on all poles. Circuit
breakers, fuses (screw fuses must be taken out of their sockets), safety switches
and contactors-circuit breakers are all appropriate isolating devices. A fixed
connection can only be made by an approved technician.
This washing machine complies with the following EEC directives:
- EEC Directive 73-23 date 19.2.1973 dealing with electrical safety,
- EEC Directive CEE 89-336 date 3.5.1989 dealing with limitation of radioelectric
disturbances, including modified EEC directive 92-31.
