Service
The chapter entitled “Troubleshooting” gives a list of a few problems that you can
solve yourself. Therefore, read this chapter if you have a problem.
If your washing machine has a technical problem
Call your After Sales service. It is close to your home and a technician can visit you
quickly if necessary (see address and corresponding telephone number of your AEG
South Africa Agent on the previous page).
In any case, prepare your call before you start. This will make it easier to make a
diagnostic and decide whether or not action by the After Sales Service is necessary.
Note the main information on the following check-list before calling:
Note the product number and serial number of your washing machine. This
information appears on the data plate on the inside of the filter access door.
Product No....................
Serial No. ...................
Then determine the following points as precisely as possible:
- What are the symptoms of the problem?
- What are the circumstances of the problem?
