USER'S INSTRUCTIONS
Important warnings
AEG electrical machines are conform with safety aspects of technical
regulations and legislation for electrical machines. However as a manufac-
turer, we are obliged to inform you of the following safety instructions.
Before using your washing machine for the first time
Respect the “Installation and connection instructions “ given below.
If the machine is delivered during the winter when temperatures are
below zero; leave the machine at ambient temperature for 24 hours
before switching it on.
Correct usage
Your washing machine is designed for normal domestic use. The
manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for damage that
occurs if the washing machine is used for commercial or industrial
purposes or for purposes other than the purposes for which it was
designed.
For your own safety, never modify or transform this washing machine in
any way.
Use only detergents designed for the washing machine. Follow the
recommendations made by the manufacturer of these products.
Do not insert any articles containing inflammable solvents. These
instructions should also be respected for washing that has been pre-
cleaned.
Do not use the washing machine for chemical cleaning.
Do not use dyes or bleaches in the washing machine unless the
manufacturer of these products specifically authorizes their use. We do
not accept any responsibility if damage occurs.
Only use tap water. Do not use rain water or industrial water unless it
satisfies the requirements of standards DIN 1986 and DIN 1988.
The guarantee does not cover frost damage!
Consequently, unscrew the tap supply pipe and put it down on the floor.
