Safety for children
Elements forming part of packaging (for example plastic films, pieces of
polystyrene) can be dangerous for children and introduce a risk of
suffocating. Keep these packaging elements out of reach of children.
Children are often unable to understand dangers of electrical appliances.
Therefore always keep an eye on children when the washing machine is in
operation, and never let children play with it.
Make sure that pets cannot get into the drum of your washing machine.
If you scrap your washing machine, take off the power supply plug, prevent
the door closing device from working, switch off the electricity power
supply and take off the remaining plugs and cables. Children will thus be
unable to get trapped in the washing machine if they play with it, and will
not be exposed to any danger.
General safety
All repairs to the washing machine must be made by qualified personnel.
Inappropriate repairs can be very dangerous. Please call our After Sales
Service or your specialized dealer for any repair work.
Never use the washing machine if the power supply cable, the control
panel, the working surface or the base are damaged so that the inside of
the washing machine is accessible
Always unplug the washing machine before cleaning and servicing it.
Furthermore, remove the plug from its base.
Always pull the plug out by pulling on the plug itself and never by pulling
the cable.
Do not use multiple power outlets or extension cords, since they could
cause overheating!
Do not clean the washing machine with a hose - risk of electrocution!
Pets can damage power supply cables and water pipes. Risk of electrocution
and water damage! Keep pets away from the washing machine.
