Starting the Wash Programme
0 1. Check that the water is on.
2. Start the wash programme: press the O/s (START/
PAUSE) button. The wash programme has started or will
start at the end of the time delay set.

If
K
/W (DOOR/LIGHT) flashes in red when the O/s (START/PAUSE)
button is pressed, the door is not closed correctly.
Press the door firmly and press the O/s (START/PAUSE) button again.
If the delay timer has been set:
The set time delay begins to expire and the remaining time until the
programme begins (in complete hours) is shown in the multi-display.
During this time you can add washing and change or stop the delay
timer.
To add washing: press the O/s (START/PAUSE) button; the door can
be opened. Next, close the door and press the O/s (START/PAUSE)
button again.
To change or stop the delay timer: press the b (DELAY TIMER) button
repeatedly until the required time is displayed; when the programme
duration is displayed (display in minutes, e.g. 120) the wash pro-
gramme will start without delay.

While the delay timer is counting down the washing machine will auto-
matically switch to standby mode. Only b (WASH TIME) is illuminated;
the multi-display shows the remaining time until the programme starts.
All other displays on the control panel are switched off in order to save
energy. Pressing any button cancels the standby mode.
Wash Programme Progress
Programme progress display
Before the wash starts, the steps to be carried out are
displayed by the programme progress display. During
the wash programme the current stage of the pro-
gramme is displayed.
