Opening and closing the filling door
Open: Press the button K/W (DOOR/LIGHT). The filling
door springs open.
Close: Press the filling door firmly closed.
The back-lighting
K
/W (DOOR/LIGHT) indicates when the unit is swit-
ched on whether the door can be opened:

The washing drum is illuminated when the filling door is open. The illu-
mination goes out automatically after approx. 3 minutes.
Putting in the washing

For maximum filling quantity see „Programme tables“.
For information on the correct preparation of the washing see „sorting
and preparing the washing“.
1. Sort and prepare washing according to type and colour.
2. Open door: Press
K
/W (DOOR/LIGHT) button. Door springs open.
3. Put in washing.
Caution! Do not jam items of washing
when closing the door! Both textiles and
appliance can be damaged!
4. Close door tightly.
– green: The door can be opened (not if Program Saving is activated),
for details see the section "Program Saving“)
– off: Door cannot be opened at present
– red: Door is open
