Read the following instruction carefully before using machine for
the rst time.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandabove
only if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards in-
volved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unlesstheyareagedfrom8yearsandaboveandsupervised.Keepthe
applianceanditscordoutofreachofchildrenagedlessthan8years.
• Appliancescanbeusedbypersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryor
mentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeonlyifthey
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.
• Theappliancemayonlybeconnectedtoapowersupplywhosevolt-
age and frequency comply with the specications on the rating plate!
• Neveruseorpickuptheapplianceif
–thesupplycordisdamaged,
– the housing is damaged.
• Theappliancemustonlybeconnectedtoanearthedsocket.Ifneces-
saryanextensioncablesuitablefor10Acanbeused.
• Iftheapplianceorthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedby
themanufacturer,itsserviceagentorsimilarlyqualiedperson,inor-
der to avoid hazard.
• Alwaysplacetheapplianceonaat,levelsurface.
• Neverleavetheapplianceunattendedwhileconnectedtothesupply
mains.
• Theapplianceandaccessoriesbecomehotduringoperation.Useonly
designated handle. Allow to cool down before cleaning or storage.
• Themainscablemustnotcomeintocontactwithanyhotpartsofthe
appliance.
• Donotimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.
• Donotexceedthemaximumllingvolumeasindicatedontheappli-
ances.
• Fillthewatertankonlywithcoldwater,neverwithmilkorotherliq-
uids.
• Donotusetheapplianceifthewatertankhasnotbeenlled.
• Thisapplianceisintendedfordomesticuseonly.Themanufacturer
cannot accept any liability for possible damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.
• Donotcarrymachinebythehandle.
• ThismachinecanonlybeusedwithLavazzaAMODOMIOcapsules.Do
not put your ngers or any other object in the capsule compartment.
The capsules can be used only once.
