Because of this reason problems with the play of les, (i.e. les may be
displayed but cannot be played), may occur in isolated cases. This is not
a malfunction of tyhe unit.
2. If the storage media contains dierent le types (e.g. audio and
video les) potentially you might get wrong le type information.
Example: You are viewing audio les in the le selection dialog but
you’d like to play video les. In this case, select the desired le type
using either of the selection buttons, e.g. “Select Audio Files”. For this
purpose, navigate to the selection buttons using the Cursor Buttons
( , ) (Fig. 2/24) on the remote control. Conrm your entry by
ENTER (Fig. 2/16).
NOTE:
Selection buttons can be navigated only if corresponding les are
present. Hence, if there are no video les on a media the “Select Video
Files” button is not enabled.
3. Select the directory to be played. To do so, select the directory
over-view using the Cursor Buttons ( , ) (Fig. 2/24) on the remote
control. The currently selected directory will be highlighted orange. If
desired change the directory using the Cursor Buttons ( , ).
4. Start playback by PLAY (Fig. 2/26). All les of the selected directo-
ry will be played back.
Select le
If you want to play back only one le or if you want to start playback
with a certain le proceed as follows:
1. Select as described above, the le type and the directory containing
the desired le. Page 51, “Selecting le/directory and starting
replay“, item 1-3.
2. Switch to le view using the Cursor Buttons ( , ) (Fig. 2/24) of the
remote control.
3. Select the desired le. The currently selected le will be highlighted
orange. Change the le if desired using the Cursor Buttons ( , ).
Press the STOP-button (Fig. 2/14) on the remote control to stop the
replay.
The DVD player is suitable for displaying your digital photographs. These
photos may be stored only any medium (DVD, CD, etc.) supported by the
DVD player.
NOTE:
Please ensure a suitable size of the photos. Large size photos may
take some time to be displayed or may not be displayed at all. It is
of advantage if the size of the photo corresponds with the screen
size of the playback device. For TVs this is normally 1024x576 pixel
(TV-aspect 16:9) or 768x576 (TV-aspect 4:3).
Please note that any conversion generally involves a loss of data
with respect to the original format.
Start the replay of photos by selecting the le from which the replay
shall start Page 52, “Selecting le/directory and starting replay“. The
pictures change automatically.
