Safety information Do not remove the outer case, door or control panel at any time. Doing so may cause exposure to extremely high voltage. The microwave oven shall not be placed in a cabinet unless it has been tested in a cabinet. 17 Hints and tips Always keep the oven clean – avoid spillovers and do not forget to clean under the glass tray and the inside of the door. Preferably use round or oval casseroles with a lid when cooking in your microwave oven. Do not use metal or metal decorated casseroles. Certain plastic materials can melt and be warped by hot food. Cleaning the exterior Open the oven door when cleaning the control panel. This will prevent the oven from being turned on accidentally. You should clean outside surfaces of the oven with mild liquid detergent and water followed by a wiping with clear water to remove any excess detergent. Dry with a soft cloth. Spray-on window cleaners or allpurpose spray-on kitchen cleaners can also be used. Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or harsh chemicals on outside surfaces of your oven.

I 37 Istruzioni per lo scongelamento Il metodo di scongelamento a peso non è adatto per alcuni alimenti come il pane e la frutta. Comunque questi alimenti si scongelano perfettamente con un ciclo di scongelamento manuale impostando il livello di potenza a 250 W. Le informazioni su pagnotte e panini riportate sulla tabella qui sotto offrono un metodo di scongelamento del pane diverso da quello del programma di Scongelamento automatico (Auto Defrost).
I Consigli pratici • • • • • • • • Tenere sempre pulito il forno – evitare di far gocciolare gli alimenti e non dimenticare di pulire sotto il vassoio di vetro ed all'interno dello sportello. Quando si usa il forno a microonde per cucinare, utilizzare preferibilmente tegami rotondi od ovali, muniti di coperchio. Non usare tegami di metallo o con decorazioni metalliche. Inoltre alcune plastiche possono fondere o deformarsi a causa del calore del cibo.
Consigli utili • Liquefare il miele Se il miele di un vasetto si è cristallizzato, togliere il coperchio e lasciare il vasetto in forno, con le microonde a livello di potenza medio, per 2 minuti. Fondere cioccolato • Ammorbidire o fondere il burro • Spezzare 100 g di cioccolato a quadretti, quindi mettere i pezzetti in una ciotola e farli riscaldare a livello di potenza alto per 1-2 minuti; mescolare bene. Per fondere il burro, occorrono solo pochi secondi a livello di potenza alto.
I Manutenzione e pulizia Il forno va sempre tenuto pulito. Residui di alimenti da schizzi e versamenti attirano l'energia delle microonde e così bruciano. Ciò potrebbe ridurre l'efficienza del forno, oltre a causare cattivi odori. Non tentare di manomettere né eseguire adattamenti o riparazioni su qualsiasi parte del forno. Le riparazioni vanno fatte esclusivamente da un tecnico qualificato del servizio assistenza.
I Pulizia dell'esterno Quando si pulisce il quadro comandi, aprire sempre lo sportello del forno. Ciò andrà ad impedire che si accenda per sbaglio il forno. Le superfici esterne del forno vanno lavate con un detergente delicato liquido ed acqua, quindi si risciacquano con acqua pulita per togliere ogni residuo di detergente.
