ENGLISH 3 1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety • • • • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not let children play with the appliance. Children shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the appliance without supervision.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 Installation WARNING! Only a qualified person must install this appliance. • Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts. • Do not install or use a damaged appliance. • Follow the installation instruction supplied with the appliance. • Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy.

They are hot. • Do not remove or touch items from the freezer compartment if your hands are wet or damp. • Do not freeze again food that has been thawed. • Obey the storage instructions on the packaging of frozen food. 2.

Compartment indicator B. ECO mode C. Temperature compartment indicator 3.2 ON/OFF To switch on active mode, open the door or hold any button for 1 second until the audible signal is heard. The icons illuminate. Plug the appliance into electrical mains socket.
ENGLISH This functions stop automatically as follows: • COOLMATIC after 6 hours; • FROSTMATIC after 52 hours. If at least one of the temperature boost functions is activated, the temperature indicator is switched off as long as the function is activated. 1. To switch on the COOLMATIC press mode key once. The COOLMATIC indicator appears. 2. To switch on the COOLMATIC and FROSTMATIC together press mode key twice. The COOLMATIC and FROSTMATIC indicators appear. 3.
www.aeg.com 4.1 Initial power on CAUTION! Before inserting the power plug in to the outlet and switching on the cabinet for the first time, leave the appliance standing upright for at least 4 hours. This will assure a sufficient amount of time for the oil to return to the compressor. Otherwise the compressor or electronic components may sustain damage. 4.
ENGLISH 9 4.6 FreshBox module The drawer inside the module is suitable for storing fresh food like fish, meat, seafood, because the temperature is lower here than in the rest of the fridge. 4.7 DYNAMICAIR CAUTION! Before placing or removing the FreshBox module inside the appliance, pull out the MaxiBox drawer and glass cover. The FreshBox module is equipped with runners.

This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption. The lowest shelf, dividing the cooler compartment from the compartment can be removed only for cleaning. To remove pull out the shelf straight.
ENGLISH 11 Problem Possible cause Solution The compressor operates continually. Temperature is set incorrectly. Refer to "Operation"/"Control panel" chapter. Many food products were put in at the same time. Wait a few hours and then check the temperature again. The room temperature is too high. Refer to climate class chart on the rating plate. Food products placed in the appliance were too warm. Allow food products to cool to room temperature before storing.

Keep the mode key pressed for approximately 10 seconds until a long sound is heard and display shuts off for a short time. The temperature in the appliance is too low/too high. The temperature regulator is not set correctly. Set a higher/lower temperature. The food products temperature is too high. Let the food products temperature decrease to room temperature before storage.
