Warning tone sounds, red
warning display is flashing
Door is opened for longer
than 5 minutes
Switch off the warning
tone by pressing the
WARNING OFF button. Do
not leave the door open for
longer than necessary.
Red warning light flashing,
warning tone sounding
Temperature warning
Please look at
“Temperature warning”
section.
Temperature display shows
a square.
There is a function fault.
Please inform customer
service. Do not open the
door of the appliance
again.
Interior lighting does not
work.
Light bulb is defective.
Please look in the "Replace
Light Bulb" section.
Heavy build up of frost,
possibly also on the door
seal.
Door seal is not air tight
(possibly after changing
over the hinges).
Carefully warm the leak-
ing sections of the door
seal with a hair dryer (not
hotter than approx. 50 °C).
At the same time shape the
warmed door seal by hand
such that it sits correctly.
Water on the floor or on
storage shelves.
Water drain hole is
blocked.
See the "Cleaning and
Maintenance" section.
Unusual noises.
Appliance is not level.
Readjust the front levelling
feet.
Appliance is in contact
with wall or other objects.
Push appliance away a
short distance.
A part at the back of the
appliance, e.g. a tube, is in
contact with another
appliance part or the wall.
Bend this part away care-
fully if necessary.
The compressor does not
start immediately after
changing the temperature
setting or after pressing
the COOLMATIC button.
This is normal, no error has
occurred.
The compressor starts after
a period of time.
