Ibrugtagning IBRUGTAGNING Indvendig rengøring Inden apparatet tages i brug vaskes det indvendig (inkl. tilbehør) med lunkent vand tilsat neutral sæbe for at fjerne den typiske lugt af nyt apparat. Tør grundigt efter. Brug ikke sulfosæbe eller skuremiddel. Det vil skade overfladen. DAGLIG BRUG Indfrysning af ferskvarer Frostrummet er velegnet til nedfrysning af friske madvarer og til langtidsopbevaring af købte frostvarer og dybfrossen mad.
Daglig brug Flytbare hylder Køleskabets vægge har en række skinner, så hylderne kan placeres efter ønske. For at udnytte pladsen bedre kan de halve forreste hylder ligge over de bageste. Flyt ikke glashylden over grøntsagsskuffen og flaskehylden. De sikrer korrekt luftcirkulation. Placering af dørhylder Hylderne i døren kan sættes i forskellig højde, så der er plads til madvarer af forskellig størrelse.
Nyttige oplysninger og råd NYTTIGE OPLYSNINGER OG RÅD Normale driftslyde • Undertiden kan der høres en svag gurglen eller boblen, når kølemidlet pumpes gennem spiralerne eller rørene. Afrimningsvandet ledes ud gennem en rende og ned i en særlig beholder bag på apparatet (over motorkompressoren), hvor det fordamper. Afløbet til afrimningsvand sidder midt i renden i køleafdelingen. Det skal jævnlig renses, så vandet ikke løber over og drypper ned på maden i skabet.

Control panel COOLMATIC function If you need to insert a large amount of warm food, for example after doing the grocery shopping, we suggest activating the COOLMATIC function to chill the products more rapidly and to avoid warming the other food which is already in the refrigerator. To switch on the function: 1. Press the Mode button until the corresponding icon appears. The COOLMATIC indicator flashes. 2. Press the OK button to confirm. The COOLMATIC indicator is shown.
First use 29 FIRST USE Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brandnew product, then dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish. DAILY USE Freezing fresh food The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deepfrozen food for a long time.
Daily use Movable shelves The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired. For better use of space, the front half-shelves can lie over the rear ones. Do not move the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer and the bottle shelf to ensure correct air circulation. Positioning the door shelves To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights.
Helpful hints and tips 31 HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS Normal Operating Sounds • You may hear a faint gurgling and a bubbling sound when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing. This is correct. • When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped around and you will hear a whirring sound and a pulsating noise from the compressor. This is correct. • The thermic dilatation might cause a sudden cracking noise. It is natural, not dangerous physical phenomenon. This is correct.
Care and cleaning • only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs; • prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required; • wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight; • do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter; • lean foods store better and longer than fa
Care and cleaning 33 Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added. After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains supply.
What to do if… Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could damage it. Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. A temperature rise of the frozen food packs, during defrosting, may shorten their safe storage life.

Non si tratta di un'anomalia. • La dilatazione termica potrebbe provocare uno schiocco improvviso.
