Play Media
You transmit commands to the DVD-Player using the remote
control. It is important that the end of the remote control is
pointed toward the DVD-Player.
Set the FUNCTION selector (Fig. 1/13) to DVB/DVD/USB/
CARD position. Now press the DVD/DVB-T button (Fig.
4/14), if necessary.
Press OPEN/CLOSE (Fig. 4/2) on the remote control. The
CD/DVD compartment opens.
Insert a CD/DVD.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE (Fig. 4/2) button again. The CD/
DVD compartment closes. After a short moment the media
type is displayed (e.g. “DVD”).
During CD playback the following status information is
displayed:
Media type (1), e.g. “CD”.
Current track/summary of tracks (2).
Audio output (3):
“x”: No repeat.
“1”: Repeats the current track.
“A”: All tracks are repeated.
Set repeat mode with the REPEAT key.
Time (4): Provides information regarding the play duration
including the remaining play duration. By default the present
play duration is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds.
To show additional display options press the DISPLAY key
on the remote control once or more times (Fig. 4/28).
Choose from following options.
remaining time until end of track,
present play time of CD,
remaining time until end of CD,
hide status information.
You may display the screen menu for DVD use by pressing the
DISPLAY key (Fig. 4/28).

Current title/total number of titles (1).
Current chapter/total number of chapters (2).
Time (3): Provides information regarding the play duration
including the remaining play duration. By default the play
duration is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds. To
show additional display options press the DISPLAY key on
the remote control once or more times (Fig. 4/28).
You may choose from the following options:
remaining time until chapter end,
current play time of the title,
remaining time until title end.
