Errors Cause Solution
No sound When connected to TV
set:
Audio cable is not
connected
Warning:
Turn the unit off before troubleshooting.
Please use an audio cable in addition to the
video cable “Connect audio cable”.
Amplier is not turned on Check if your amplier is turned on in case an
audio amplier is connected.
Wrong settings Check the DVD player settings.
Remote control
does not work
Wrong direction The remote control is not pointed towards the
DVD player.
Range exceeded Ensure that the distance is no more than 5
meters from the unit.
Batteries exhausted Exchange the remote control’s batteries
“Insert batteries into the remote control”.
No DVD playback DVD is not nalized Use a nalized DVD.
DVD mode is not selected Press the DVD/DVB-T button (Fig. 4/14) to select
DVD mode.
Batteries exhausted Exchange the batteries or use the mains power
cable.
No DVB-T recep-
tion
The station is too weak for
reception via telescopic
antenna
Direct your antenna again or connect outdoor or
indoor antenna.
No DVB-T reception in your
area
The station is too weak Direct your antenna again.

stereo reception
Set the BAND selector (Fig. 1/4) to mono (FM).
