NOTE:
With CDs in MP3 format, the number of folders is dis-
played briey rst.

NOTE:
With CDs in MP3 format, the current track and the folder
are displayed alternately.
6. In order to remove a CD, please press the
STOP key (16),
open the CD compartment

OPEN (2) and lift the CD out
carefully.
Always keep the CD deck closed.
NOTE:
• If a disc is incorrectly inserted - or no disc has been
inserted - the symbol “- - -” and the word “no” appear in the
display.
• Playback of CDs produced by the user cannot be guar-
anteed due to the large variety of software and CD media
available.
Description of the CD buttons
This key allows you to briey pause playback. The
u
icon and
the current track are ashing on the display. Pressing again
continues playback.
With an audio CD or a CD in MP3 format playing:
With
SKIP UP you can jump to the next or previous track etc.
• If the button is kept pressed down, the machine starts to
search through the tracks.
The SKIP DOWN button can be used as follows:
Press once = This jumps back to the previous track.
Press twice = This plays the song before etc. If the button is
kept pressed down, the machine starts to search
through the tracks.
Press briey:
The CD stops.
Press long:
The USB connection or the card slot will be selected.
MODE
Press once: (the REP emits a xed light) the current
track is repeated continuously.
Press twice: (the REP
emits a xed light) the whole
CD is played continuously.
Press three times: the display contains the word RND and the
track number that is to be played rst. All
tracks are played back in random order.
NOTE:
Random playback (RND) always begins
with the rst track on the CD/MP3 CD.
Press four times: all functions are cancelled. The normal play
mode is resumed.
Only for CDs in MP3 format
Press once: the current track is repeated continuously
(REP appears in the display).
Press twice : the selected folder of the MP3 CD is re-
peated continuously (REP ALBUM appears
in the display).
Press three times : the whole CD is played continuously (REP
appears in the display).
Press four times : the display contains the word RND, MP3
and the track number that is to be played
rst. All tracks are played back in random
order.
Press ve times : the function is deactivated and the CD is
played in the normal mode.
Folder selection only for MP3 CDs:
To navigate one folder up press and hold the button during
playback. F 01 will ash on the display. Press SKIP DOWN /
SKIP UP to select the desired folder. CD playback starts auto-
matically. On pressing the button in stop mode, the display will
also ash. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
Programmed Play
This can be used to program any desired sequence of tracks.
1. Press the
STOP key (16).
2. Press the PROGRAM key (18). The number “P01” (storage
location) and the symbol PROG ash in the display. Use the
SKIP DOWN / SKIP UP buttons (21/20) to select the
desired track and then press the PROGRAM button again.
The display changes to memory slot P02.
3. Select the next track with the
SKIP DOWN / SKIP UP
key and press the PROGRAM key again. Repeat the
procedure until all the desired tracks are selected.
NOTE:
Once the storage capacity of the tracks to be programmed
has been reached, “FUL” ashes in the display.
4. Press the
u
PLAY/PAUSE key (25). The playback starts.
The selected track numbers are shown in the display in the
correct order and the symbol
u
or
u
MP3 and PROG. light
up. Press this button to pause briey the playback.
5. Press once the STOP key (16) to stop the playback while
retaining the program.
6. To resume the playback of the program press rst the
PROGRAM key once and then the
u
PLAY/PAUSE.
