SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 Installation • Remove all the packaging. • Do not install or use a damaged appliance. • Follow the installation instruction supplied with the appliance. • Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear.

www.aeg.com Max power that the access point will be open for about 3 minute. < 20dBm 7.1 Installing and configuring "My AEG" When connecting the tumble dryer to the application, stand near it with Your smart device. Make sure that your smart device is connected to the wireless network. 1. Go to the App Store on your smart device. 2. Download and install App "My AEG" . 3. Make sure you started a Wi-fi connection in the dryer. If not go to the section below. 4. Start the application.
ENGLISH 3. Press the Start/Pause button to activate the Remote Start Mode. If the door is open, the Remote Start Mode is deactivated. The indicator appears on the programme summary screen. 8. BEFORE FIRST USE Rear drum packaging is removed automatically when dryer is activated for the first time. Possible to hear some noise. Before you use the appliance for the first time: • Clean the tumble dryer drum with a moist cloth. • Start a short programme (e.g. 30 minutes) with moist laundry.

OPTIONS 10.1 Extra Silent The appliance operates with low noise without effect on the drying quality. The appliance operates slowly with longer cycle time. 10.2 Eco This option is on by default with all programs. The power consumption is at the minimum level. 10.
ENGLISH 10.7 Delay Start Lets to delay the start of a drying program from minimum of 10 minutes to maximum of 24 hours. 1. Set the drying program and options. 2. In the option menu tap on the Delay Start bar to enter the submenu. 3. Scroll left or right the hour and minute bars to set the desired delay start. 4. To activate Delay Start option, touch the Start/Pause button. After touching the Start/Pause button, the appliance begins the countdown.

Ensure the laundry is not trapped between the appliance door and rubber seal. 1. Pull open the appliance door. 2. Load the laundry one item at a time. 3. www.aeg.com You can use this option to deactivate the buzzer or control the duration of the buzzer . There are 3 levels of sound duration (Short, Mid and Long). To deactivate the buzzer or set the new duration of the sound: 1. Tap on Cycle End Buzzer bar. 2. Scroll the bar to the right or left to set the desired value.

HINTS AND TIPS 13.1 Ecological hints • Spin the laundry well before drying. • Do not exceed the load sizes which are specified in the programs chapter. • Clean the filter after each drying cycle. • Do not use fabric softener to wash and then dry. In the tumble dryer laundry becomes soft automatically. • Use distilled water like that used for steam ironing. If it is necessary, clean the distilled water before (e.g. with a coffee filter) to remove any particles.
ENGLISH If the condensed water container is full, the programme stops automatically. The message Water Tank Warning comes on the display and you must empty the water container. 25 1. Open the door. Pull the filter up. To empty the water container: 1. Pull the water container out keeping it in a horizontal position. 2. Open the condenser cover. 2. Pull the plastic connection out and drain the water into a basin or equivalent receptacle. 3. Turn the lever to unlock the condenser lid. 3.

Do not use abrasive materials or steel wool to clean the drum. 14.5 Cleaning the control panel and housing Use a standard neutral soap detergent to clean the control panel and housing. 6. Close the condenser lid. 7. Turn the lever until it clicks into position. 8. Put the filter back. Use a moist cloth to clean. Dry the cleaned surfaces with a soft cloth. CAUTION! Do not use furniture cleaning agents or cleaning agents which can cause corrosion. 14.
ENGLISH Problem 1) Unsatisfactory drying result. The loading door does not close Not possible to change the program or option. Possible cause Select a suitable program. 2) The filter is clogged. Clean the filter. 3) Dryness Level option was set to Iron Dry. Change Dryness Level option to higher level. The load was too large. Do not exceed the maximum load size. The airflow slots are clogged. Clean the airflow slots at the bottom of the appliance. Dirt on the humidity sensor in the drum.
www.aeg.com Problem 1) Possible cause Load size is small. Select time program. The time value must be related to the load. To dry 1 item or a small amount of laundry we recommend short drying times. The laundry is too dry. Select time program or higher dryness level (e.g. Extra Dry) The filter is clogged. Clean the filter. The load is too large. Do not exceed the maximum load size. The laundry was not spun sufficiently. Spin the laundry well.
ENGLISH Possible cause Problem 1) The App frequently cannot connect to the dryer. 29 Remedy The wireless signal does not reach the dryer. Try to move the home router as near the dryer as possible or consider purchasing a wireless range extender. The wireless signal is disrupted by microwave. Turn the microwave off. Avoid using the microwave and the Remote Control of the oven at the same time. The microwaves disrupt the Wi-Fi signal. 1) If there is an error message on the display (e.g.

ENGLISH 31 17. ACCESSORIES 17.1 Stacking kit For thorough draining of the condensed water into a basin, siphon, gully, etc. After installation, the water container is drained automatically. The water container must stay in the appliance. The installed hose must be minimum 50 cm to maximum 100 cm from floor level. The hose cannot be in a loop. Decrease the length of the hose if necessary. Read carefully the instructions supplied with the accessory. 17.
