the stock one, keep in mind that:
 when installed, both ends of the spring (without compression) should not
have any gap left. If there are gaps on either side, you may need to use
spacers. HOWEVER, the need for many spacers may simply indicate that the
spring you selected is too short. Refer to the section on the use of spacers for
further information.
 note the diameter of the spring wire. If the spring wire has a large diameter,
the compressed length may still be too long.
 note the number of coils. A short spring with MANY coils can be very lengthy
even at full compression.
