INSTALLATION Belt clip latch 3.1 Removing the belt clip t Pull the belt clip latch away from the PMR. t While pulling the belt clip latch, push up the belt clip. 3.2 Installing the belt clip t Slide the belt clip into the slot. >A “click” indicates the belt clip is locked into its position. 3.3 Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Installing the batteries (see P3) t Slide down the battery compartment cover. t Insert 3 x AAA rechargable batteries.
3.4 Charging the batteries using desktop charger (see P4) Insert the round connector of the (9.0V DC/300mA) mains adaptor into the power-in connection jack at the back of the desktop charger. Plug the mains adaptor into a 240V AC, 50Hz main socket. Important: t Always turn off the PMR units when charging. This will shorten the charging time. t The PMR must be charged using the mains adaptor provided.
OPERATION UK 4 4.1 Turning the unit on/off To turn on: t Press and hold the power button . >A “beep“ sound will be heard. The LCD screen will display the current channel. To switch off: t Press and hold the power button . >A “beep“ sound will be heard and the LCD screen will turn blank. 4.2 Adjusting the speaker volume There are 8 volume levels, the current speaker volume level is displayed on the LCD screen.

Hinweise: t Die PMR-Geräte verfügen über eine eingebaute Stromsparfunktion (PS), um die maximale Akku-Lebensdauer zu gewährleisten; falls die Geräte jedoch nicht in Gebrauch sind, sollten sie abgeschaltet werden, um Akku-Energie zu sparen. t Nehmen Sie die Akkus heraus, wenn die Geräte für längere Zeit nicht benutzt werden. 3.4 Die Akkus mit dem Tischladegerät aufladen (siehe P4) Stecken Sie den Rundanschluss (9 V GS/300 mA) des Netzteils in die Stromanschlussbuchse hinten am Tischladegerät.
3.5 Akku-Anzeige Die Akku-Anzeige befindet sich in der linken Ecke auf der LCDAnzeige. Das Akku-Symbol wird angezeigt, wenn sich die Akkus im niedrigen Ladezustand befinden. Damit wird angezeigt, dass die Akkus bald leer sein werden; wenn es soweit ist, werden vom Gerät zwei Pieptöne ausgegeben, bevor es sich automatisch ausschaltet. 4 BETRIEB 4.1 Das Gerät ein- bzw. ausschalten Einschalten: gedrückt. t Halten Sie die Ein-/Austaste >Es ertönt ein Piepton.

4.8 Kanal scannen Ihr Funkgerät kann mit einer Scan-Funktion die 8 Kanäle nach Aktivitäten absuchen. Dadurch ist es möglich, andere Funkgeräte zu finden, ohne dabei den Kanal wechseln zu müssen. ! Warnung für Fahrzeuge mit Airbag Platzieren Sie Ihr Gerät nicht in den Bereich über einem Airbag oder im Airbagbereich selbst. Airbags blasen sich mit großer Kraft auf. Befindet sich ein Gerät im Airbagbereich und er wird aktiviert, kann das Gerät mit großer Wucht umhergeschleudert werden und so den Fahrzeuginsassen schwere Verletzungen zufügen.

3.4 Chargement des piles à l‘aide du chargeur de bureau (voir P4) Insérez le connecteur rond de l‘adaptateur secteur (9,0 VCC/ 300 mA) dans la prise de raccordement d‘entrée à l‘arrière du chargeur de bureau. Branchez l‘adaptateur secteur dans une prise secteur 240 VCA, 50 Hz. Important : t Arrêtez toujours les unités PMR pendant le chargement. Cela raccourcira le délai de chargement. t Le PMR doit être chargé à l‘aide de l‘adaptateur secteur fourni.
t Éliminez les piles usagées en toute sécurité en les confiant à un centre de recyclage. t Ne laissez pas des piles à plat dans vos unités PMR. Elles risqueraient de connaître des fuites et d‘endommager l‘unité et ses environs. 3.5 Jauge des piles L‘icône de la pile se situe dans l‘angle de gauche de l‘écran LCD. Cette icône apparaît lorsque l‘état de charge de la pile est faible. Celle-ci indique que le niveau de la pile atteint son niveau minimal.
4.3 Réception d‘un appel L‘unité se trouve en permanence en mode de réception lorsqu‘elle est activée et qu‘elle ne transmet pas. 5 FONCTIONS AUXILIAIRES 5.1 Économie d‘énergie Votre unité PMR possède un circuit spécial visant à optimiser la durée de vie de votre pile. Lorsque l‘unité n‘est pas utilisée pendant 4 secondes, elle passe automatiquement en mode d‘économie. La fonction d‘économie d‘énergie n‘affecte pas l‘aptitude du PMR à recevoir des transmissions. Lorsqu‘un signal est détecté, il repasse automatiquement en mode de pleine puissance. 5.
SÉCURITÉ ! Antenne endommagée N‘utilisez pas un PMR si son antenne est endommagée. En cas de contact d‘une antenne endommagée avec la peau, une brûlure mineure peut se produire. ! Piles Toutes les piles peuvent entraîner des dommages matériels et/ou des blessures corporelles du type brûlures si du matériel conducteur, du type bijouterie, clés ou chaînes entrent en contact avec les bornes exposées. Le matériau peut former un circuit électrique (court-circuit) et devenir brûlant.

Atmosphères potentiellement explosives Désactivez votre unité dans une zone où l‘atmosphère est potentiellement explosive à moins que le modèle soit adapté à une telle utilisation (par exemple, approbation par la mutuelle des manufacturiers). Opmerkingen: t De PMR-toestellen hebben een ingebouwde energiebesparingsmodus om de levensduur van de batterij te verlengen maar wanneer u het toestel niet gebruikt, schakelt u het beter uit om de batterij te sparen. t Verwijder de batterijen als u de toestellen lange tijd niet gebruikt. 3.4 De batterijen opladen met een duolader (zie P4) Steek de ronde connector van de netadapter (9,0 V DC/300 mA) in de netsnoeraansluiting op de achterkant van de duolader.
3.5 Batterijniveau Het batterijpictogram bevindt zich in de linkerhoek van het lcdscherm. Dit batterijpictogram verschijnt wanneer de batterij bijna leeg is. Het geeft aan dat de batterij haar minimumniveau heeft bereikt. Op dat ogenblik weerklinken er twee bieptonen en wordt het toestel automatisch uitgeschakeld. BEDIENING 4.1 Het toestel in-/uitschakelen Inschakelen: ingedrukt. t Houd de aan-uitknop >Er weerklinkt een biepgeluid. Het lcd-scherm geeft het huidige kanaal weer.
4.3 Een oproep ontvangen Het toestel staat voortdurend in ontvangstmodus wanneer het is ingeschakeld en niet uitzendt. Wanneer het een signaal ontvangt op het huidige kanaal, wordt het pictogram voor ontvangstsignaal weergegeven op het lcd-scherm. 4.4 Verzenden (transmit) t Houd de PTT-toets (Push to Talk) ingedrukt. verschijnt op het lcd-scherm. >Het pictogram voor zenden t Houd het toestel verticaal met de microfoon op 5 cm van uw mond.
t Terwijl het kanaalcijfer knippert, drukt u op of om het gewenste kanaal te selecteren. >U kunt de kanalen veranderen van 1 tot 8 of vice versa. om de instelling te bevestigen en t Druk op de toets voor menu terug te keren naar de stand-bymodus. 5.2 Batterijniveau laag indicator De PMR kan een laag batterijniveau detecteren wanneer de batterijspanning afneemt. Het batterijpictogram geeft de status aan van uw batterij. Wanneer de batterijspanning op een laag niveau zit, verschijnt het symbool voor lege batterij op het scherm en blijft het blijft knipperen tot de batterij Opmerking: Om een goede communicatie te verzekeren, dient u de batterijen te vervangen of op te laden zodra ze laag zijn.
! Waarschuwing voor voertuigen met een airbag Plaats uw toestel niet op de afdekking van een airbag of in de ontplooiingszone van een airbag. Airbags worden met grote kracht ontplooid. Als er zich een toestel in de ontplooiingszone bevindt wanneer de airbag zich ontplooit, wordt het met grote kracht weggekatapulteerd en kan het de inzittenden ernstig verwonden.

9 REINIGING EN ZORG Reinig geen onderdelen van uw toestel met benzeen, thinners of andere chemicaliën met oplosmiddelen. Hierdoor kan permanente schade ontstaan die niet onder de garantie valt. Reinig het toestel wanneer nodig met een vochtige doek. Houd uw toestel uit de buurt van hete, vochtige omstandigheden of fel zonlicht en laat het niet nat worden. 10 GARANTIE EN SERVICE Het toestel wordt geleverd met een garantie van 24 maanden vanaf de aankoopdatum vermeld op uw aankoopbon.
