Electrical Connection
• Please ensure that the device voltage (see type plate) and
mains voltage are the same.
• Connect the mains plug to a properly installed wall
socket.
Switching on
• Use the control switch (1) to select the desired setting.
• The control lamp (3) lights up and shows that the device
is working.
NOTE:
On the first few occasions that this device is used unusual
odours may be produced. These are harmless and disap-
pear the more the device is used.
Control switch
You can select from the following settings:

NOTE:
You can read off the setting on the control lamp (3).
Switching off
• Set the control switch to 0 (off).
• Only then should you remove the plug from the mains
socket.
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always remove the mains plug from the socket before
cleaning the device.
• Clean the product only after it has cooled down. Risk
of burning!
• The heating blanket and the control switch must not be
machine or dry washed.
• Do not immerse the control switch in water! There is a
risk of electric shock and fire.
Please also follow the care instructions on the label.
CAUTION:
• If you use water to clean the electric blanket, this must
not be warmer than 30°C. Otherwise the material could
shrink and damage the electrical system.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not use any stain remover such as foam or spray.
Removing Stains from the Electric Blanket
• Wipe off the affected area with a damp cloth or sponge.
In the case of stubborn stains a gentle solution of soapy
water may be used.
• Excess water can be dabbed off with a towel.
Hand wash
• If necessary, wash the heating blanket by hand with a
neutral wool detergent. Make sure the control switch
does not get wet!
• Rinse it thoroughly with clean water afterwards.
Drying the Electric Blanket
• After cleaning, allow the material to dry in the air.
• To this purpose the entire electric blanket should be hung
over a line.
• Do not use any pegs or similar items.
WARNING:
• When drying, the mains cable must be positioned in
such a way as to prevent the ingress of water into the
control switch.
• The electric blanket must be completely dry before it is
used again.
Control switch
• Only use a dry cloth to clean the control switch.
Storage
• Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
• Let the product cool down completely before folding.
• Fold the electric blanket together gently and store the
entire product in the storage bag.
CAUTION:
• Store the product in a dry place.
• During storage, the product must not be bent by plac-
ing other objects on top of it.
