Display Settings
You can set the display name and backlight duration time (in seconds) that
the backlight remains on while the keypad is inactive using the Display Settings
menu.
Setting the Display Name
To set the display name, perform the following steps:
1.
Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.
2.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select
items, go to Phone Settings€ Display Settings.
3.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select
items, go to Display Name.
4.
Using the keypad, enter a name to display on the main screen. You can
enter numbers and letters.
5.
Press the Left soft key ( ) to save changes.
Setting the Backlight Duration
To set the backlight duration time, perform the following steps:
1.
Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.
2.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select
items, go to Phone Settings€ Display Settings.
3.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select
items, go to Backlight Duration.
4.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ), select the duration between 5 and 40
seconds (the default is 10 seconds).
5.
Press the Left soft key ( ) to save changes.
Configuring AP Settings
You can set the default access point and configure phone IP and Security
settings using the AP Settings menu.
To configure AP settings, perform the following steps:
1.
Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.
2.
Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select
items, go to Phone Settings€ AP Settings.
