e. Remove the MAF sensor from the stock air box assembly. (Fig. 9)

f. Using the screws removed in (3e), install the MAF sensor into the AEM

intake pipe.

g. Install the air filter onto the furthest end of the intake pipe from the MAF sensor. Leave the hose clamp

attaching the air filter to the intake pipe loose. (Fig. 10)

h. Install the intake pipe in the engine compartment.

NOTE: The coolant hoses should be routed below and the cruise control cable should be routed

above the AEM

intake pipe.

i. Slide the intake pipe into the coupler hose and loosely secure with a hose clamp. The MAF sensor plug

should be facing the front of the vehicle. Align the bracket with the rubber mount. (Fig.12)

j. Make sure you have the correct placement of all the components for mounting the intake pipe properly.
