 4.2.3. I/O CONFIGURATION Sub-menu 
To access the I / O CONFIGURATION sub-menu, click on the corresponding icon. 
I / O CONFIGURATION sub-menu Icon 
This sub-menu allows you to configure the logical audio channels from the physical audio input 
and  output  modules  and  as    previously  defined  in  the  BOARD  CONFIGURATION  sub-menu. 
There are two distinct parts in this sub-menu; upper part of the screen is dedicated to the input 
channels configuration and the lower part of the screen is for the output channels configuration. 
In both the upper and the lower part of the screen the tables have the following fields: 
•  ID indicates the equipment internal position of the signal. 
•  LABEL,  alphanumeric  name  of  the  channel.  Maximum  number  of  characters 
recommended: 6. This is the name that appears in all displays and menus of the control 
surface AEQ FORUM. 
•  MODEL, the type of the physical input or output module present in the rear panel of the 
unit. This field will be populated automatically once the HARDWARE CONFIGURATION 
has been accomplished (see section 4.2.1.1. Of this manual). 
•  CONFIG,  access  to  advanced  settings  menu  for  the  selected  logical  channel.  To 
access,  click  on  the  field  “CLICK  TO  CONFIG”  and  then  click  on  the  “new  CONFIG” 
button that will appear.
