 4.2.3.1. Advanced Configuration menu of input channels 
Even  if  all  configuration  options  and  possibilities  are  explained  hereunder,  it  should  be  taken 
into  account  that  the  on-screen  options  may  vary  depending  on  the  Input/Output  module  that 
the logical audio channel has been configured for; 
•  Headers 
o  "FRzz Input  configuration"  means  that we are  setting  the  inputs  of  a  FR"zz"  -
type card 
o  "INPUT HW: xx.0y" means that we are setting the input "y" of the card located 
in slot xx 
•  LABEL,  alphanumeric  name  of  the  channel.  Maximum  number  of  characters 
recommended: 6. This is the name that appears on all displays and menus of the 
control surface AEQ FORUM. 
•  FADER  START,  this  is  where  we  select  a  GPO  (from  the  list  defined  in  chapter 
4.2.1.2)  to  perform  the  function  Fader-start  for  this  channel.  NONE  indicates  no 
Fader-start function for that channel. 
•  REMOTE ON / OFF, this is where we select a GPI (from a drop-down list) associated 
with  remote  start  function  of  this  channel  (CHANNEL  ON  /  OFF  control  surface,  see 
paragraph 2.1.1.8  of  this  manual) . NONE indicates  that no Remote  ON/OFF function 
for this channel has been configured. 
Advanced Configuration menu Examples of input channels 
•  SOLO, select a GPI input (from a drop-down list) associated with the SOLO function for 
this  channel  (typically  microphone  channels).  NONE  indicates  no  SOLO  function  has 
been configured for that channel. This feature allows you to remotely cut the audio of all 
the microphone inputs that have been defined except the one that has been associated
