To set a programmable key, simply click on it with the mouse and select from the list on the right
to associate action;
• NONE, no action associated.
• GENERAL, associated with activation of GPI and GPO.
• SALVO, configure a Salvo.
• CODEC functions associated with remote control of peripheral communications
equipment through GPIs and GPOs.
• MULTIPLEX, associates the key to sending the clean feed, or summing bus to the
corresponding codecs or telephone hybrids.
• CUE RESET, programs the key to cancel all signals present on the CUE bus.
4.3.2.2. Configuring the programmable keys as "GENERAL"
Programmable keys that are set to “GENERAL” are used to activate GPIs and GPOs. A key set
to this function is assigned with a dedicated icon.

When you have selected a programmable key that has been assigned with the function
“GENERAL” or you assign a “blank” programmable key with the function “GENERAL”, the lower
part of the screen will show the available options for Key Configuration.
