Advanced settings menu snapshot memories 
The options under the advanced settings menu memory snapshots, described from left to right 
and top to bottom: 
•  LABEL, alphanumeric label for the snapshot memory. 
•  Faders,  twelve  drop-down  menus  allow  you  to  assign  an  audio  channel  that 
corresponds  to  one  of  the  physical  faders  of  the  AEQ  FORUM  mixing  console.  The 
faders are numbered from left to right, 1 through 12. 
•  STUDIO,  you can set  studio monitors  to  be active or  inactive by default  and  following 
the status of the physical keys available for this purpose (Master 1, Master 2, Cue and 
Sel). 
•  SEL  Input  and  Output,  selects  a combination  or a  single input  or  output  to  be 
present for monitoring at the key “Sel”. 
•  CONTROL, you can set control monitors to be active or inactive by default and following 
the status of the physical keys available for this purpose (Master 1, Master 2, Cue and 
Sel). 
•  SEL  Input  and  Output,  selects  a combination  or a  single input  or  output  to  be 
present for monitoring at the key “Sel”. 
•  TALKBACK  MIC  configures  the  operation  of  the  microphone  input  present  in  the 
common I/O section at the rear panel of the AEQ FORUM. 
•  ORDERS,  set  the  microphone  to  act  as  a  orders  microphone  input  for  the  Studio 
and return for any open communication line. This is a typical configuration for  the 
AEQ FORUM when installed in a Studio – Control configuration. 
•  SELF-CONTROL,  set  the  microphone  to  act  as  a  microphone  input    in  a    self-
control  configuration.  This  is  typically  the  configuration  adopted  when  the  Studio 
and Control areas of the radio station are in the same room or physical space, i.e. 
the host of the radio program is also the operator of the mixing console. 
•  CONFIGURE INPUTS, OUTPUTS AND MIXERS, such as quick access button for the 
section advanced settings for the  audio inputs, outputs and  internal mixer buses , 
presented in three consecutive columns.
