MENU LEVEL & OPTION DESCRIPTION
1
Prop Band
Generates a valve position based on the error that exists
between the setpoint temperature and the actual outlet
temperature. If the actual error is less than the proportional
band setting (1 to 120°F), the valve position will be less than
100%. If the error is equal to or greater than the proportional
band setting, the valve position will be 8%.
2
Integral Gain
This sets the fraction of the output, due to setpoint error, to add
or subtract from the output each minute to move towards the
setpoint. Gain is adjustable from 0.00 to 10.00
3
Derivative Time
This value (0.0 to 20.0 min.) responds to the rate of change of
the setpoint error. This is the time that this action advances the
output.
4
Min Load Adj
Setting is adjustable from -50°F to +50°F. It adjusts the output
by adding an offset to the breakpoint chart at minimum flow.
This is used to fine tune Feed-Forward (FFWD) output at low
flow levels.
5
Max Load Adj
Setting is adjustable from -50°F to +50°F. It adjusts the output
by changing the scaling of the breakpoint chart at maximum
flow.
6
FFWD Temp Displays the Feed-Forward temperature.
7
Outlet Feedback
Used to Enable or Disable feedback. Disable this function for
Feed-Forward control only.
8
Feedback Gain Adjustable from 0.01 to 1.00 (See NOTE below)
9

Breakpoint at 0%
Allows breakpoint temperature settings (30°F to 240°F) to be
entered for 100% to 0% in 10% increments. See Appendix D
for default values.
