COMMAND: SET SELECTIVE CALLING RF ON/OFF
FORMAT: SCL RF KEY= AAA
This command switches "ON" or "OFF" the Selective Calling RF carrier. When this command is sent to
the NAV 2000R, the two Selective Calling pulses are transmitted using the current settings. After
transmission is complete the carrier remains on.
COMMAND: SET SELECTIVE CALLING ACTIVE/INACTIVE
FORMAT: SCL INIT= AAAAAAAA
This command initiates the transmission of the two Selective Calling pulses, using the current settings,
when "ACTIVE" is in the data field. When "INACTIVE" is in the data field, the transmission of the two
Selective Calling pulses is stopped, however the RF carrier remains on.
NOTE: If the NAV 2000R's RF carrier has not been turned on prior to sending this command, no action
is performed. The RF carrier can be turned on in two ways: by sending the SCL RF KEY= ON command,
or by using the SELCAL menus while the NAV 2000R is in Local mode.
COMMAND: SET PULSE PERCENT OF MODULATION
FORMAT: SCL %MOD= DD[.DD]
This command allows the percent of modulation to be programmed for the pulses in the Selective Calling
mode of operation. The total may range from 0 to 99.00 % and can be specified with 0.01 % resolution.
COMMAND: SET TONE AMPLITUDE DIFFERENCE
FORMAT: SCL DIFF= [+][-] DD
This command allows the amplitude difference between TONE #1 and TONE #2 (of PULSE #1 and
PULSE #2) to be programmed in the Selective Calling mode of operation. The total may range from -40
to +40 dB and can be specified with 1 dB resolution. The value of the difference specifies TONE #1 with
respect to TONE #2.
