Ibiza X Für den FSX Einleitung Vielen Dank für den Erwerb von Ibiza X für den FS2004 und FSX. Wie bei allen unseren Szenerien haben wir viel vor Ort recherchiert und fotografiert, um ein möglichst genaues Abbild für den Flugsimulator zu erstellen. Es war uns wichtig, vor allem durch die Foto-Bodentexturen, die ganz spezielle Atmosphäre der Flughäfen und der sie umgebenden Landschaft wiederzugeben. Ich wünsche Ihnen eine allzeit gute Landung auf „Ibiza“.
Wenn Sie mit Windows 98/ME, NT4.0/2000, XP oder VISTA arbeiten, wird das Setupprogramm für Ibiza X automatisch gestartet. Das Setupprogramm installiert Ibiza X für den Microsoft Flugsimulator X. Nach der Sprachauswahl werden Sie zunächst von der Installations routine begrüßt und Sie erhalten einige wichtige Informationen. Das Verzeichnis des Flugsimulators wird automatisch gesucht und überprüft.

Auswahl des Flughafens Um einen Flug von dem enthaltenen Flughafen zu starten, geben Sie den entsprechenden 4-Letter Code der Flughäfen auf Ibiza ein. Ibiza (International) LEIB Anmerkung: Wir verzichten auf einen Eintrag unter „Suche Zusatzszenerien“, da die Anwahl über den obigen 4-Letter Code einfacher funktioniert. Das Ibiza X in der Flughafenauswahl nicht unter Zusatz szenerien erscheint, bedeutet nicht, dass es nicht ordnungsgemäß installiert wurde.
Ibiza X • Reduzieren Sie den AI-Traffic auf ca. 30-50% um nicht zu viele Flugzeuge auf dem Vorfeld zu haben, was bei höheren Werten die Systemleistung deutlich reduzieren würde. • Reduzieren Sie schrittweise die Darstellung der Autogen-Objekte in den Anzeige-Einstellungen. • Reduzieren Sie die Anzahl der (3D) Wolken in den Anzeige einstellungen des FSX. • Schalten Sie im FSX zwischen Fenster- und Vollbildmodus um (ALT+ENTER). Oft kann man eine starke Zunahme der Ablaufgeschwindigkeit beobachten.
Durch den Einsatz einer neuen Technologie zur Landebahn-Befeuerung können jetzt auch wieder ältere AI-Flugzeugmodelle zusammen mit angeschaltetem Flugzeug-Bodenschatten genutzt werden. Dynamischer Bodenverkehr (AES Lite) und FSX-Fahrzeugverkehr Der dynamische Bodenverkehr von Autos, Bussen etc. auf dem Flughafen ist intelligent gesteuert. Das bedeutet, dass Fahrzeuge annähernde Flugzeuge erkennen können und gegebenenfalls anhalten, um sie passieren zu lassen.
Ibiza X Anzeigeeinstellungen „Luftbild“ Das Luftbild von Ibiza X hat im FSX eine hohe Auflösung von ca. 0,5 m/pixel. Um es in der vollen Auflösung im FSX sehen zu können, stellen Sie bitte in den Anzeigeeinstellungen die Auflösung für Bodentexturen auf min. 0.3 Meter. Andernfalls wird das Luftbild nur in einer geringeren Auflösung dargestellt! Anzeigeeinstellungen „Texturen“ Stellen Sie bitte die Auflösung für die Globale Texturauflösung in den Anzeigeeinstellungen auf „Sehr Hoch“.

Nun müssen Sie das Menü komplett schließen und den FS2004 neu starten, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen. Bildwiederholrate (Ablaufgeschwindigkeit) Bitte beachten Sie folgendes, um eine möglichst schnelle Ablaufgeschwindigkeit von Ibiza X im Microsoft Flugsimulator 2004 zu erreichen: • Reduzieren Sie den AI-Traffic auf ca. 30-50% um nicht zu viele Flugzeuge auf dem Vorfeld zu haben, was bei höheren Werten die Systemleistung deutlich reduzieren würde.
Ibiza X Das gesamte visuelle Erscheinungsbild des Flughafens ist darauf ausgelegt, einem in der Simulation befindlichen Piloten in Cockpitsicht die bestmögliche Ablaufgeschwindigkeit zusammen mit einem bestmöglichen visuellen Eindruck zu bieten. Eine Betrachtung der Szenerie mittels „SLEW“ bzw. „Versetzungsmodus“ ist zwar möglich, führt wegen der an einen virtuellen Piloten angepassten Ausblendung von Objekten zu keinem optimalen Ergebnis.
Technische Hinweise zu Küstenlinien: Im FS2004 gibt es leider nur ein Möglichkeit den Verlauf der mitge lieferten Küstenlinien zu verändern: Man muss gewisse Dateien in *.OFF umbenennen und durch eigene ersetzen. Der Installer versucht dies automatisch zu erledigen. Je nach Setup kann es aber zu Problemen führen, zumal es zahlreiche Kombinationsmöglichkeiten gibt, da die einzelnen Originaldateien sehr groß sind und bis zum spanischen Festland reichen.
Ibiza X • Nur Mallorca ohne Ibiza installiert: Originaldateien HP948180.bgl und HP948170.bgl müssen in HP948180.OFF und HP948170.OFF umbenannt oder anderweitig deaktiviert sein. Im Mallorca\scenery Verzeichnis sollten die Dateien HP948170_Mallorca.bgl und HP948180_Mallorca_only. bgl vorhanden sein. Die Originaldateien sind im Verzeichnis: \Programme\Microsoft Games\ Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Eurw\Scenery zu finden. Die eventuell benötigten Ersatzdateien im Verzeichnis Ibiza X\Utility.

Installation When using Windows 98/ME, NT4.0/2000 or Windows XP, the setup routine for Ibiza X will start automatically. The installation program will attempt to locate the correct path of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. If this path cannot be successfully located, or you wish to install to another location, then you will have to enter the correct path to your installation of the flight simulator manually. In order to do this, click on “Browse“ and navigate to the correct path.

Ibiza X Performance To achieve a framerate as high as possible within Microsoft Flight Simulator X, please note the following: • Reduce the AI Traffic to 30-50% to limit the aircraft displayed on the apron. • Due to the amount of autogen objects in the area switch this option off or to reduce it step by step. • Reduce the amount of visible (3D) clouds in the display settings of FSX. • Try to switch the FSX to windowed or full screen view (ALT+ENTER).
Dynamic Ground Traffic (AES Lite) and FSX ground Traffic Dynamic ground traffic at the airport showing cars, buses etc. is intelligently controlled. Vehicles will recognize approaching aircraft on the ground and will stop to let them pass. This technique is based on the AESLite program developed by Oliver Pabst and is a part of this scenery. Mesh terrain (Heights) Ibiza X comes with its own mesh displaying the terrain altitudes.
Ibiza X FSX, Ibiza X and the DX10 Preview If you are running FSX under VISTA and have a DX10-capable graphics card, you have the option to activate the so called “DX10 Preview” mode. As the name suggests, this mode is only a preview of what could be possible with DX10 and the flight simulator, if DX10 were a finished product.

Established Scenery entries from Aerosoft “Balearic Islands and Gibraltar“ or “old version Ibiza“ in FS2004: The installer will automatically uninstall all contingent older versions of Ibiza.

Very often you´ll see an extreme change in performance. Find out what´s best for your system.
Ibiza X Photorealistic ground and third party mesh terrain: To get the best possible resolution of the terrain and airport scenery set the texture sizes for ground (terrain) and custom objects to massive i.e. the highest possible value. If you notice problems on older systems (blurred textures, extensive loading times...) lower the settings step by step. Due to technical limitations of FS2004 the resolution of the island´s terrain textures is limited to approx. 4,7m/pixel.
• Ibiza and Majorca installed (no matter which sim-wings Majorca): Default files HP948180.bgl and HP948170.bgl must be renamed to HP948180.OFF and HP948170.OFF or deactivated in a different manner. Mallorca\scenery directory must contain the files HP948170_Mallorca.bgl und HP948180_Mallorca+Ibiza. bgl. Ibiza\scenery should not contain any file named HP948180*.BGL . • When using Ultimate Terrain Europe or a similiar add on using its own coast lines, no HP948170*.BGL and HP948180*.
