When visiting Malta for the first time in November 2005 despite some rain, I came to the conclusion that these islands were so beautiful that I wanted more people to able to discover them. Even if it is only virtually, start you visit here and maybe it will lead to a real visit to Malta. The islands are very small and we had to make a decision on what to concentrate on. What did we want to show in this scenery? Of course it was neccessary to have the city of Valetta and the Airport.

The Islands of Malta Performance To achieve a framerate as high as possible within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, please note the following: Your maximum visibility should be 10-20 miles (see weather settings). This accelerates the framerate and it is more realistic. If the framerate is still too low, you can also switch off the ground scenery cast shadows in the settings display. You can even turn down the scenery complexity from dense to normal and to very sparse to accelerate the simulator some more.
