I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Features: The Aervoe Baton Traffic Flare is a
rechargeable multipurpose signaling device used as
an emergency road are, a handheld safety wand or
ashlight. Made of durable polycarbonate plastic, this
15-LED are is a safe alternative to incendiary ares.
It is crushproof with an impact resistant rubber housing
and waterproof. Also includes an N35 magnet to attach
it to any ferrous metal surface. Features 5 ash patterns,
including S.O.S. Rescue Morse Code, with visible light
range of 1/2 to 1 mile. The ashlight includes one ½-watt
LED and operates independently from the ash patterns.
The single pack #1154, #1155 and #1156 models come
with a USB 120V wall charger, a USB 12V vehicle
charger, and a storage bag.
The #1156x, #1157 and #1158 kit models come with
a total of 3 Baton Trafc Flares, a hard plastic storage
case that also operates as the charging center, a 120V
wall charger, a 12V vehicle charger, and two #1159 Flex
Fit Tripods.
Benets: Baton Trafc Flares replace toxic incendiary
ares. There is no smoke, ame or ash created as when
those types of ares are used. The versatile design
gives greater exibility of use including 5 ash patterns
and a ashlight to work in different situations; and many
applications including roadside, handheld, or attached to
ferrous metal surfaces. The rechargeable design means
there are no batteries to replace.
Uses: Lay on the ground as a road are or hold in
your hand as a safety wand, or ashlight. Attach it to
any ferrous metal surface, including cars, trucks, and
signs, using the heavy duty magnet. May be used in any
weather condition. Ideal for road safety identication by
emergency responders and personal vehicle operators. May
also be used on construction sites, for aviation marshalling
and taxiing, event management, in marine applications for
boater emergency safety, and much more.
The 3-pack kit is perfect for emergency responders, and
event managers, where multiple devices are needed. The
included Flex-Fit Tripods elevate ares off the ground in a
vertical position for greater visibility. Additional tripods may
be purchased separately.
Warnings: Read operating instructions thoroughly prior to
use. Do not use in ammable or explosive environments
without rst receiving approvals from a designated safety
agency. Never use if damaged or electrical components
are exposed. Flares are not certied for intrinsically safe
applications. If used in wet environments, thoroughly dry
ares prior to charging or storage to eliminate corrosion
on charging contacts. Only use the provided CE and C/
UL certied AC and DC chargers supplied with this product
or an equivalent replacement with the same inputs and
outputs as listed in the specication section. Failure to use
the specied charger could be hazardous, cause damage to
the product, and voids the warranty. Monitor during charging
and disconnect when charging has nished.
