RUBBERIZED LEAK REPAIR
PRODUCT NUMBERS:
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Features: Aervoe Rubberized Leak Repair dries quick
with a exible rubber material designed to seal water
leaks and cracks. It penetrates deep into the surface to
assure a rm, tough bond.
Benefits: Excellent adhesion to concrete, wood,
felt, gypsum, plastic, glass and metal. Forms a tough
waterproof seal as it creeps into cracks and bonds to the
surface providing rust and corrosion inhibiting qualities
while lling surface pores. The protective lm withstands
normal hydrostatic pressure.
Applications: Use on metal edging and flashings
(including galvanized), gutters (PVC, metal or galvanized),
roong (composition and metal), and other metal, wood,
concrete, masonry or gypsum surfaces.
Directions: For maximum adhesion, surface must be
clean, dry and free of grease, rust, scale or any other
loose particles. Shake can for at least one minute after
agitator ball begins to rattle and during use. Hold 8-10"
from the surface to be sprayed and press spray head
rmly. Apply with steady, even strokes. Clear spray tip
after each use by turning can upside down and spraying
for 2-3 seconds.
Gutters - apply to inside area 2-3 inches beyond the
leak. Additional material can be applied to the outside
area for increased strength and durability.
Drip Edges & Eaves - apply to any gaps to seal from
windblown water intrusion.
Composition Roofing - apply to wood or felt
underlayment of loose shingles before tacking in
place.
Vent stacks and skylights - apply around edges and
joints to stop water intrusion.
Tree limbs - seal fresh cuts to prevent insect attack.
Concrete/Masonry/Gypsum - start in the center area
of the crack to ll in and seal. Successive layers
should be wider and thin around the edges to limit
peeling. Final width of the patch should be about
3-4 inches.
Limitations: Please refer to the Safety Data Sheets for
specic information on material hazards, etc. Not for
drinking water or food systems. Not FDA approved and
not an electrical insulator. Nor for sealing pin holes in air or
water lines under high pressure. Please check all plastic
surfaces for adhesion and compatibility before each use.
