I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Description: Aervoe Water Based Marking Paint is a
highly-pigmented, durable water-based paint designed to
mark and adhere to most surfaces. Packaged to operate
upside down by hand or in an Aervoe #244 Spot Marker or
#245 Marking Stick applicator with or without the cap on.
Benets: This product is a true water-based formula,
not "water-added" for cost reduction. It is covered by its
own U.S. patent #5,158,609. It will not damage or burn
grass roots and provides a lasting line that can be cut
off after the grass has grown out. Adhesion to asphalt
and concrete is equal to solvent-based formulas once
dried. Overspray can be cleaned up in the rst 5 minutes
with soap and water. After dry, paint is water-resistant.
Uniquely formulated, this paint is lead-free, non-clogging,
and safer for the environment than solvent-based
formulas. This product is classied under the NFPA 30B,
Level 1 for warehouse storage.
Application: Water Based Marking Paint may be used for
utility marking, construction sites, surveying, landscaping,
golf course and athletic eld marking. For temporary
marking, use Aervoe Marking Chalk or Fade-Out Marker.
For aisle striping in warehouses, parking lots or trafc
lines, use Aervoe Striping Paint.
Directions: Intended for use with Aervoe's #244 Spot
Marker and #245 Marking Stick; test other applicators
for compatibility. For best results, use at temperatures
between 60° and 80°F (16° and 27°C). For Aerosol
application, shake can for 1 to 2 minutes after rattle of
agitator ball is heard. Remove safety tab, invert can and
apply 3 to 5 inches from the surface for writing symbols
and numbers. Spray 5 to 8 inches from surface for 3/4"
line or continuous direction tracks. Keep can in motion
during use to prevent puddling due to the high delivery
paint stream. If cap has been removed, replace it for
storage and color identication. Before storing partially
used cans, clear spray tip by holding can in upright
position and pressing tip to one side, away from face,
for 2-3 seconds.
Limitations: Please refer to the Safety Data Sheets for
specic information on material hazards, etc. This aerosol
product is designed to spray upside down or at an angle
not greater than 30° from vertical. Do not apply if surface
is wet, or if rain is imminent within 4 hours of application.
Do not allow product to freeze.
