CORROSION SUPPRESSANT 101

I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Description: A removable corrosion preventative .
This petroleum based product penetrates and forms a
transparent lm that is recommended for the most severe
environments.
Benefits: Prevents rust and corrosion caused by
moisture and oxidation. Resists acids formed by
corrosive atmosphere. Provides excellent long-term
outdoor weather protection. This product lasts until you
want to remove it. Removes easily with any paint solvent.
Withstands up to 1000 hours of salt spray testing.
Applications: Use to protect construction equipment,
industrial machinery, farm equipment, bridgework, steel
structures, tanks and pipe. Salt spray protection makes
it invaluable for ocean shipments.
Directions: Aerosol: Brush off any loose rust only. Spray
uniformly from a distance of 12 to 14 inches. For best
results, use in well ventilated area at room temperature.
One coat will be satisfactory. A second coat may be
applied within 1 hour or after 48 hours, to maximize the
protection. Bulk: Brush off any loose rust only. Apply
with clean sprayer, brush, or cloth. Follow remaining
instructions from aerosol application. Do not use on
electrical equipment or machinery while in operation.
