WATER-BASED STRIPING PAINT
PRODUCT NUMBERS:
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Description: Aervoe Water-Based Striping Paint is a
highly pigmented, water-based, lead free striping paint
that is safe for all surfaces but specically formulated
for turf grass applications. This product will not cause
yellowing or root damage of natural grass and is safe for
use on articial turf. This product provides a long lasting
opaque and uniform stripe approximately 2" - 6" wide.
Resists ground trafc once dry. Aerosol designed for use
in both Aervoe #800 and #801 Vers-A-Stripers, as well
as the #745 Striping Stick for touch up and stencils.
Benets: This product is cost-effective and achieves
professional results without special operator training. Use
of aerosol Water-Based Striping Paint eliminates paint
waste and cleanup. For large applications, bulk liquid is
most economical. When applied in optimum conditions,
paint dries to touch in 15 to 30 minutes and is resistant
to trafc in 1 hour.
Uses: May be used on grass, articial turf, or dirt for line
striping playgrounds, football, baseball, softball, soccer,
and track elds. Can also be used on asphalt, concrete,
cement, and other similar surfaces. For applications
where a quicker dry time is required on non-turf surfaces,
use Aervoe Solvent-Based Striping Paint.
Application: Aervoe Water-Based Striping Paint is
intended for use with Aervoe's striping equipment; test
other applicators for compatibility. For best results on
dirt surfaces, slightly dampen and groom dirt. Use at
temperatures between 60° and 80°F (16° to 27° C). Can
temperatures above and below this range may cause
fuzzy edges or thin coverage. Do not use at temperatures
below 40°F (4° C), or if rain is imminent within 24 hours,
or in high humidity. Aerosol: Shake can vigorously for at
least one minute after rattle of agitator ball is heard and
intermittently during use. Place can in striping machine
making sure the spray tip is seated squarely into the
actuator bar. To prepare can for storage, remove from
applicator, turn can upright and spray for 2 to 3 seconds
to clear paint from the valve. Do not try to clear air bubbles
that may form on the tip, as excessive release of gas will
affect complete evacuation. If dried paint on the tip affects
the spray pattern, remove tip and scrape off material or
replace with the extra tips provided in each case. Replace
cap for safety against accidental discharge. Store can
in upright position. Bulk: Mix well before use. Apply in
conventional air spray system or airless pressure sprayer.
Recommended dilution ratio: One part water to one part
paint. Do not exceed four parts water to one part paint. To
remove aerosol or bulk paint from articial turf use #5075
Biodegradeable Cleaner/Degreaser. DO NOT FREEZE.
Limitations: Refer to Safety Data Sheet for specic
information on material hazards. Do not allow product
to freeze.
