CHAPTER 1 – OVER VIEW OF THE Breeze C (MAIN FEATURES) Congratulations on choosing the Breeze C as your electrically powered Scooter. The Breeze C is a scooter for Elderly and Disabled persons, Fun and Sport. Scooter classification: Class B with according to EN12184. The Breeze C is designed to a Maximum occupant mass of 150 Kg (352lbs).
CHAPTER 2 – SAFETY Symbols for Breeze C WARNING! An authorized supplier or qualified technician must perform the initial setup of this scooter and must perform all of the procedures in this manual. The symbols below are used throughout this owner's manual and on the scooter to identify warnings and important information. It is very important for you to read them and understand them completely. WARNING! Indicates a potentially hazardous condition / situation.
brake, always be careful that your hands and fingers will not be trapped between any of the moving parts. Beware from trapping your fingers in the tiller mechanism, when adjusting the tiller – Forward / Reverse. Never load the Breeze C total loads (User weight and all other loads combined) more than 150Kg (330lbs) or 135Kg (297lbs) depend on the model including all the baskets. The load in the Rear Basket should not exceed 8 kg (17.6 lbs). The load in the Front Basket should no exceed 5 kg (11lbs).
Use Lead Acid maintenance free / sealed batteries only. WARNING !!! Special care must be taken to prevent children from operating the Breeze C. Do not allow unsupervised children to play near the Breeze C scooter while the batteries are charging. Always drive carefully, adjust the speed according the limitation of the road. Instability problem can arise when performing turns at high speed. Before making sharp turns, reduce the Breeze C speed to minimum to prevent side roll-over.
Do not connect an extension cord to the AC/DC converter or the battery charger. Keep tools and other metal objects away from battery terminals. Contact with tools can cause electrical shock. Do not sit on the mobility product when it is being used in connection with any type of lift/elevation product. Explosive conditions exist! Disposal and recycling-Contact your authorized Provider for information on proper disposal of your Breeze C product and its packaging. Wear safety glosses. Contains Lead.
CHAPTER 2 – SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for Breeze C GENERAL MANDATORY! Do not operate your new Breeze C scooter for the first time without completely reading and understanding this owner’s manual. Your Breeze C is a state-of-the-art life-enhancement device designed to increase mobility. We provide you an extensive variety of products to best fit the individual needs of the user.
TIRE INFLATION Your Breeze C scooter is equipped with pneumatic tires, you should check or have the air pressure checked at least once a week. Proper inflation pressures will prolong the life of your tires and help ensure the smooth operation of your Breeze C scooter. WARNING! It is critically important that the psi/bar/kPa air pressure indicated on each tire be maintained in pneumatic tires at all times. Do not underinflate or overinflate your tires.
Breeze C speed 15 km/hr: Breeze C speed 12 km/hr: Breeze C speed 10 km/hr: IFigure A. Maximum Recommended Incline Angle When climbing an incline, try to keep your Breeze C scooter moving. If you must stop, start up again slowly, and then accelerate cautiously. When driving down an incline, do so by setting the speed adjustment dial to the slowest setting and driving in the forward direction only.
Figure A illustrates your Breeze C Scooter’s stability and its ability to climb grades under various weight loads and under controlled testing conditions. These tests were conducted with the Breeze C Scooter’s seat in the highest position and adjusted rearward on the seat base to its farthest rearward position. Use this information as a guideline.
OUTDOOR DRIVING SURFACES Your Breeze C scooter is designed to provide optimum stability under normal driving conditions- dry, level surfaces composed of concrete, blacktop, or asphalt. However, We recognizes that there will be times when you will encounter other surface types. For this reason, your Breeze C Scooter is designed to perform admirably on packed soil, grass, and gravel. Feel free to use your Breeze C Scooter safely on lawns and in park areas.
FREEWHEEL MODE Your Breeze C Scooter is equipped with a manual freewheel lever that, when pushed Upward, allows the Breeze C scooter to be pushed. For more information about how to place your Breeze C scooter into and out of freewheel mode, see 3. “General description of your Breeze C scooter.” WARNING! When your Breeze C scooter is in freewheel mode, the braking system is disengaged. Disengage the drive motors only on a level surface. Ensure the key is removed from the key switch.
LIFT/ELEVATION PRODUCTS If you will be traveling with your Breeze C scooter, you may find it necessary to use a lift/elevation product to aid in transportation. We recommends that you closely review the instructions, specifications, and safety information set forth by the manufacturer of the lift/elevation product before using that product. WARNING! Never sit on your Breeze C Scooter when it is being used in connection with any type of lift/elevation product.
PREVENTING UNINTENDED MOVEMENT WARNING! If you anticipate being seated in a stationary position for an extended period of time, turn off the power. This will prevent unexpected motion from inadvertent throttle control lever contact. GETTING ONTO AND OFF OF YOUR Breeze C SCOOTER Getting onto and off of your Breeze C scooter requires a good sense of balance. Please observe the following safety tips when getting onto and off of your Breeze C scooter: Remove the key from the key switch.
ALCOHOL/SMOKING The Breeze C scooter user must exercise care and common sense when operating his/her Breeze C scooter. This includes awareness of safety issues while under the influence of alcohol, or while smoking. WARNING! Do not operate your Breeze C Scooter while you are under the influence of Alcohol, as this may impair your ability to operate the Breeze C scooter in a safe manner.
CHAPTER 3 – GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE Breeze C Note: The numbers in parentheses refer to the parts illustrated on Figure 1+2+3. Figure 1: Breeze C4 Figure 2: Breeze C3 Handlebars (1) Your Breeze C is designed for both hand operation, But it is delivered to you with right-hand controls. The Seat itself can be rotated to allow easy access. The Lever is used to change the seat position Forward and Reverse, to fit the driver mostly.
CHAPTER 4 – ADJUSTMENTS INSTRUCTIONS (Reference numbers refer to the figures #4 and #5) Adjusting the Adjust height/ distance of handlebars as follows: Handlebars (1) Release the Handlebars Adjusting Lever (1.5), which fixes the handlebars in place, by pushing the lever to the left. Release the lever at the desired place. Seating into the Before driving the Breeze C make sure that the Charging Plug is Breeze C disconnected from the Charging Socket (1.4).
CHAPTER 5 – OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (Numbers in the table refers to figure no.6 and figure no.7) Key Switch Breeze C has a Main Key Switch (1.17) - located at the top of the Tiller Box (1). The Main Key Switch has two positions: “OFF” - The Breeze C cannot be driven and the Electromagnetic Brake is locked. “ON” - Power is supplied to the Breeze C. The Electromagnetic Brake releases automatically when the Operating Wig-Wag lever is squeezed.
Wig Wag Operating Lever and Manual Hand Brake (optional) Signaling Horn/Buzzer Headlight Switch Hazard Warning Charge Inhibit To start driving, squeeze the operating Wig Wag Lever (1.3a) or (1.3b) gently until you reach the desired speed. The speed is directly proportional to the deflection of this Lever. To drive forward use one of the two (1.3a) Wig Wag levers. To drive backward us one of the two (1.3b) Wig Wag levers. To stop-release the operating Wig Wag Lever (1.3a) or (1.3b).
(Numbers in the table refers to figure no.7 and figure no.6) Parking After stopping, turn the Main Key Switch (1.17) to OFF and remove the key. The ON lights will turn OFF. The Electromagnetic Brake is engaged (locked). Note: The Electromagnetic Brake is automatically locked whenever the Operating Lever is released and after the Breeze stops completely.

The user should know his weight and all other loads are lower than the maximum of 135 Kg (297 lbs) / 150 Kg (330 lbs) depend on the model. If not sure it should be measured. Use a safety belt when ever it is needed or under local ordinance.
CHAPTER 6 – CHARGING Read Charger’s manual before using the charger. Warning: If you use a different charger, ask your dealer for instructions. CHARGING BATTERIES (See figure 9) 1. Insert first the Charging Plug (8) to the Charging Socket (10) located at the right side of the tiller box. 2. Plug the power cord (9) of the charger into a wall outlet (11). 3.
CHAPTER 7 – MAINTENANCE Note: 1. Maintenance Manual is available for trained technicians. 2. The numbers in parentheses refer to the parts illustrated in figure 11. Although the Breeze C requires minimal maintenance, do not neglect it. When servicing the Breeze C, make sure that it stands on a level surface and that the key is not inserted. Remark: For the periodic maintenance no special tooling is needed. (Numbers in the table refers to figure 10) Periodic Maintenance Check No.
Replace Batteries Remove batteries terminal insulating cap. Each time remove only one cap. Unsecure the screw of the wiring terminal from battery terminal using 8 mm key. Make sure your 8 mm key is not touching any other terminal or metal part. This can cause damage and Injure. After un securing all wires terminals, remove the batteries and install the new ones. Connect the wires as shown in below Figure 11. The connection Label is also located near the batteries.
CHAPTER 8 – TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAULT REPAIR The following table provides troubleshooting and repair instructions for symptoms encountered when operating the Breeze C. It presents the best ways to handle the faults. The table contains three columns: The Symptom - describes the functional problem that results from the fault. Probable Cause - lists all probable causes for the relevant symptom. The probable causes are listed logically by order of probability: the first one is the most probable.

CHAPTER 9 – EMI WARNING All types of electrically powered vehicles, such as powered wheelchairs and motorized scooters (in this text all types will be referred to as “powered vehicles”) may be susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI). This is from sources such as radio and TV stations, amateur radio (HAM) transmitters, two-way radios and cellular phones. The interference (from radio wave sources) can cause the powered vehicle to release its brakes, move by itself, or move in unintended direction.
