CHAPTER 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 GENERAL

Key switch
(1.11)
The main key switch is located at the top of the tiller box (1).
The key switch has two positions:
OFF - The Breeze S cannot be driven and the EMB is locked.
ON - Power is supplied to the Breeze S and the EMB is released
automatically when the throttle control lever is squeezed.
To operate the Breeze S, insert the key in the key switch and turn it
to ON (clockwise). The switch will remain in this position and the LCD
(1.1) will be lit.
Note: The key switch is used to operate the Breeze S, not for locking.
Automatic shut
off
When the key switch is in ON, the control system will be shut off
automatically after a few minutes (usually 20) in order to save battery
energy.
In the case of automatic shut-off, turn the key switch OFF and then ON
again.
Adjusting the
handbrake
The handbrake cable mechanism can be adjusted by an authorized
technician.
The handbrake is part of your safety system.
DO NOT adjust it yourselfget professional assistance!
Throttle control
lever and
manual
handbrake
To drive: Gently squeeze the throttle control lever (1.8) until you reach
the desired speed. Your speed is directly proportional to the deflection of
the throttle control lever.
To stop: Release the throttle control lever (1.16). The Breeze S will stop
gradually, automatically.
Note: You can also use the manual handbrake for emergency
stopping (1.16).
Signaling
Before you turn, press the applicable turn signal switch left or right (1.14)
To turn off the indicator, press the switch forward.
When a turn indicator is activated, the applicable LED (5.3 or 5.4) will
flash.
Depending on the model, a buzzer may also sound (subject to local
regulations). To turn off the indicator, press the button again.
Buzzer buttons

Push one of the 2 Buttons (1.9) to activate the buzzer.
The buzzer sounds automatically under the following conditions (except
where prohibited by law),:
1. When reversing
2. When operating the left or right indicator
