IMPORTANT - CLEAN TRACK BEFORE USE
Due to moisture in the atmosphere, a thin lm may
build up on the track surface. For optimum perfor-
mance, it is therefore necessary to clean the track
before use. Follow the instructions for maximum
enjoyment of your new AFX set.

NOTE: Occasionally, preserva-
tive will cause the controller to
emit a little smoke when used
for the rst few times. This is
normal and will go away after
a few minutes of running.
Always clean the track before you start racing. Use an eraser or coin to clean the
track rails, then wipe away residue with a clean, dry cloth. Use the track pad only
if needed.
Blow out any deposits that may have fallen into the slots.
NEVER use Steel Wool to clean the track.
Choose a layout from the Instruction Sheet.
Slide the controller plugs into the terminal track.
If the power cord is damaged in any way, it must be repaired or replaced by the
manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualied person in order to avoid a
hazard.
Squeeze the trigger on the controller to make the car accelerate. The more you
squeeze the trigger, the faster the car runs!
Assemble track pieces on a at, clean surface. Do not assemble on carpet.
Push the track pieces together until they lock in place.
