What height should the AGD326 be mounted at and what angle of declination is recommended?
The 326 should be mounted at a nominal height of between 2-4 metres from ground level and have a clear
view of the pedestrian crossing area to be covered with no obstructions from other street furniture for
correct operation.
Initially mount the detector so it is vertical.
Set the maximum range to the length of the pedestrian crossing.
If you are seeing pedestrians on the opposite pavement aer setting the maximum range,
then tilt the detector downwards slightly.
Carry out a walk test and ensure you are being seen by the detector on the opposite kerb edge,
and not on the pavement.
Users should note that in normal operation the angle of declination will be less than that of previous versions.
