Technologically superior infrastructure
The RG-1100 Broadband Gateway acts as an access
point to provide wireless LAN connectivity and
Internet access via DSL, Cable or ISDN. Designed for
between one to ten users, the RG-1100 is the ideal
solution for home and small office networks,
enabling multiple stations to share a single
broadband Internet connection using Network
Address Translation (NAT), Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Point to Point
Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) and Virtual Private
Networking (VPN). Due to its superior receiver
sensitivity (ears) and resilience to microwave
interference, ORiNOCO has proven to be the best
802.11b radio in the industry providing unbeatable
performance results in range and throughput.
A rich set of wireless monitoring features
and tools
The RG-1100 comes with an easy to use
configuration tool and can also be configured and
managed by network administrators using the
Access Point (AP) Manager software. VPN
passthrough, WEP encryption and access control
table based authentication enable the set up of
secure network access for remote office workers.
The RG-1100 Broadband Gateway is part of the
complete ORiNOCO product family of
infrastructure and client products – all you need
to get a wireless network up and running and
have reliable shared Internet access throughout
your home or business. Put together the
configuration that is right for your network, or
try one of our wireless networking kits for the
home and small office, which include an
ORiNOCO PC Card for laptops and/or a USB
Client for desktops.
