6.6 ApplicationProgramDevelopment
The TREK510 is bundled with built‐in Windows® Embedded CE 5.0 operatingsystem. In real
applications users need to execute various application programs on it. However, unlike its
other family, the Windows® Embedded CE 5.0 is a hardware‐dependent operating system.
That is to say, Windows® Embedded CE 5.0 application programs are only portable in the
sourcecodelevel.UsersmustrebuildtheruntimefileforadifferentWindows®EmbeddedCE
5.0platformeventhoughthesourcecodemaynotbechangedatall.
