5 Setting Up Multiframe Configurations
• Because the Agilent Logic Analyzer application runs on the
performance PC connected remotely to a frame, the frame’s front
panel knobs and buttons are not functional.
5 Power down all of the frames and the performance PC.
6 Connect multiframe cables between the frames as shown.
One frame’s output is connected to the next frame’s input. Connect
multiple frames in sequence with the final frame having no output
connected.
7 Power up all frames.
As the operating system loads, it will:
• Configure the corporate LAN connection.
• Start various services.
• Start the logic analyzer service.
8 Log in to one of the frames, and wait for the Agilent Logic Analyzer
application to start.
