Once the Define Labels softkey is pressed, a label choice box is displayed on the
screen along with the following new softkeys:
  Delete Character
  Insert Space
  Copy
  Position
  Assign Label
  Previous Menu
These softkeys are self-explanatory. To assign ―Clk‖ to channel 0, first make sure that
channel 0 is selected. Then using the Entry knob on the front panel, scroll to ―Clk‖ from
the list of labels on the screen. Press the Copy softkey, then the Assign Label softkey.
―Clk‖ has now been assigned as the label for channel 0. To assign ―Q0‖ to channel 1,
first ensure that channel 1 is selected and delete any characters in the Assign to field
on the screen. Use the Entry knob to scroll to ―Q‖, press the Copy softkey, then scroll to
―0‖ and press the Copy softkey again. Now press the Assign Label softkey. Repeat the
process for Q1 and Q2 to complete the labels.
Pressing the On/Off button on the front panel brings up the following softkey
items:
  Selected channel Off/On
  Chan 0 – 7 Off/On
  Chan 8 – 15 Off/On
  Reorder 15 – 0 / 0 – 15
These items are self-explanatory.
Input Logic Levels
The input logic levels may be set to TTL, CMOS, ECL, or a
user-defined threshold by the softkeys that appear after pressing the
Logic levels button. Channels 0 – 7 and 8 – 15 may be independently
set to different levels, as can the external trigger input. If the User
option is selected, the threshold level may be changed via the Entry
knob.
Timebase / Horizontal Controls
The delay knob adjusts the horizontal position of the display left or
right by moving the t = 0 point. If the delay is adjusted, then the pair of
solid triangles at the top and bottom of the display (mentioned previously)
will move accordingly. The display point will retain a pair of open
triangles to mark its position. The display point may be set to either one
graticule in from the left or right side of the display or to the center of the
display.
