Making Harmonic Measurements
Perform the following steps to display the absolute power of the fundamental and second
harmonic in dBm.
1. Press to measure the power for the fundamental
frequencies.
2. Press to measure the power for the harmonic
frequencies.
3. Set the start frequency to a value greater than 16 MHz.
4. Press and select . Uncoupling the channels allows
you to have the separate sweeps necessary for measuring the fundamental and
harmonic frequencies.
5. Press and select . Coupling the channel power
allows you to maintain the same fundamental frequency power level for both channels.
6. Press and set the power level for both channels.
7. Press and select .
8. Press and position marker to desired frequency.
9. Press . You can view both the fundamental
power and harmonic power levels at the same time. (Refer to Figure 1-45.)
