Unique Folder Creation OFF
In this mode of data storage, the method name is the only link that exists
between the data file and the method that was used to acquire and process it.
No copies of the method are saved with the sequence or with the data file; if
the method is changed, or a new method with that name is created, then the
sequence cannot be exactly reproduced.The sequence data files are stored in
accordance with the parameters specified in the Data File group of the
Sequence Parameters dialog box; the sequence naming facility in the Sequence
tab of the Preferences dialog box is disabled in this mode.This mode of data
storage is identical to ChemStation revisions prior to B.02.01 and therefore
cannot take full advantage of the latest Data reviewing/reprocessing
functionalities in the Data Analysis View of the ChemStation.
NOTE
Sequence data acquired using the option “Unique folder Creation OFF” need to be
reprocessed using the reprocess option in the Method and Run Control view.
NOTE
The Add-On solutions G2189BA ChemStation OpenLAB Option and G2181BA ChemStore
require the preference mode “Unique Folder Creation ON”. As soon as the Add-On is
installed on top of the ChemStation, the option “Unique Folder Creation OFF” is disabled.
