Turning On Sound
You can listen to a single channel at a time in channel test modes. Sound is disabled
when you are in full E1 test modes.
7 Setup Rx Input.
a. [Rx Input]
b. [Terminate]
This assumes the test set is connected
into a jack that interrupts the circuit.
8 Setup Line Code.
a. [Line Code]
b. [AMI] or [HDB3]
This assumes that the circuit is designed
for AMI or HDB3.
9 Setup Framing.
a. [Framing]
b. [Unframed] or [PCM30] or
[PCM30 + CRC4] or
[PCM31] or
[PCM31 + CRC4]
This assumes that the circuit has been
designed for the option you select.
10 Setup the Pattern.
a. [Pattern]
b. Use the up and down arrow
buttons to move to a pattern.
c. [Select]
11 Setup the Tx Pattern.
a. [Tx Pattern]
b. [Normal] or [Invert]
12 Setup the Tx Clock.
a. [Tx Clock]
b. [Internal] or [Primary Rx]
None of the options available on [More 1
of 2] are available in Delay mode.
