Clearing Calibration
Clear Calibration deletes the current calibration data, enabling you to re-calibrate
the instrument for the same frequency range.
13 Disconnect the feedline at the top of
the tower, and connect a short
connector to the feedline.
This step is necessary to get a good
mismatch for the measurement.
14 [Level] Below the trace on the screen is a
table displaying the average insertion
loss.
If the trace is not visible, you can
change the reference level or use
Autoscale to have the test set select a
reference level for you.
• To choose Autoscale, press
[Autoscale].
• To set the level manually, press
[Ref Level], enter a value using
the numeric keypad, then press
[dB].
