To Check the Printer Parallel Port
Test equipment
It is recommended that the following compatible printer be used.
Printer cable: Parallel cable
Procedure
Step 1. Connect the printer cable between the printer and the E5061A/E5062A printer parallel
port. Turn the printer on.
Step 2. Press key to initialize the E5061A/E5062A.
Step 3. Press key.
Step 4. Click
Printer Setup in the softkey menu.
Step 5. Depending on the printer used, Click "hp deskjet 5650" icon with the right button in the
Property window. Then, click "Set as Default Printer" button.
Step 6. Click
Print in the softkey menu. Confirm the printout of the display image.
Step 7. If the printer fails to work, the problem seems in the A20 digital motherboard, printer
driver or connection of the printer cable.
To Check the GPIB
Procedure
Perform the E5061A/E5062A performance test program. If the controller cannot detect the
